arrow02.gif (1022 bytes)TSC Trip - Fall Roundup - COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colorado

coppermt.gif (1868 bytes) Dates:  24-29 Nov, 1998, Tuesday-Sunday
Trip Leader:   -Gail Harvey,  email: Ray.Harvey@gte.net
Assistant Leader:

Call 210-494-SNOW, write or email trip leader for price updates.

There is nothing like the sheer awesomeness of the Mountain to make one feel, well, unimportant. We assume it’s simply an inherent human reaction to over 12,000 feet of snow-covered granite. But, once you return to your room, you’ll feel anything but unimportant. The resort is paradise, created from the ground up to deliver everything a guest could want. More than 40 shops and restaurant. Access to one of the finest health and fitness clubs in the Rockies. A battalion of concierges to help plan a moonlight cross-country tour, sleigh ride or "Dining in the Woods" excursion.

"Fun" is far to small a word to use, but this mountain has skiing for very level of skier, so it’s only right that Copper Mountain has instructions for everyone: two group classes and private lessons daily, as well as the most complete early season, race, telemark, snowboard, cross-country and advanced ski clinics and camps. Copper’s child care programs (rated as the America’s "Best" by SKI Magazine), the Belly Button Babies and the Belly Button Bakery, take care of the little ones, so you older kids can have fun out on the mountain. Plus, there are skiing "camps" for the older kids – supervised group classes that introduce kids to the "Zen" of skiing (even if they have no idea who Zen is).

Copper boast 117 trails, 4 bowls and over 2,400 acres of terrain in Summit County. At any level of expertise, Copper’s definitely got your number: 25 Beginner, 30 Intermediate, 36 Advanced and 4 Expert.

And that doesn’t include the ungroomed bowls or the 25km of cross-country tracks. Anyway you look at it, it adds up to quite a spread. Bon Appetit.

A little about this trip:
The Snow Flower Condos are one of the TRUE Ski In/Out Resorts at Park City, Utah.   You just can't get any closer to the slopes, step into your skis to glide 100 feet to the Three Kings, First Time or brand new Eagle chairlifts which lift you to 82 marked ski trails --- over 650 acres of open bowls or try Deer Valley (world renowned) or the new canyons mountain ski area just minutes away on a free shuttle bus.

A little about this trip:
Les 3 Vallees is the world's largest continuous ski area offering more developed terrain than you can find in all of Colorado and Utah combined!  These are interconnected and with a lot of hustle and desire, you can ski from one end to the other in the same day.   There are 375 miles of downhill runs, the longest being 4 miles long, and 194 lifts to get you where you want to be.  Maybe these are just a couple of reasons why the Olympic Games were held here in 1992.

france_m.gif (14936 bytes)The village of Brides les Bains is only 3 blocks long, but don't let the size fool you.   This resort was the Olympic Village for the Olympic Games in 1992.  There are plenty of amenities to keep even the "hardest to please" happy!

For the non-skiers, there will be plenty of sights to see, including a pre-trip to Lyon, France and post-trips to Paris or Paris/London along with 5 different sightseeing excursions during our week in Brides Les Bains.

Plan now to come ski, sightsee, party and visit France with 65 lucky Amigos!

A little about this trip
Come join us at the Sleeping Indian Condominiums in Teton Village.  We have 32 slots available and one has your name if you are willing to seriously go down hill in more ways than one.

There are several activities planned, one of which will be a ski day at Grand Targhee for some of the finest powder skiing in the US.  In addition to the regualrar TSC parties/apres skiing, there is a "tube" trip down the Snow King Mountain.   Bring your swin suit.  After all, you will need it for the hot tub.

$100.00 will reserve your space on this whoopin' and spurin' trip. (If you don't want to "whoop-'n-spur", you can still ski the big one with us.)

I can be reached at (210) 416-5338, or (830) 964-4555.   If no answer, leave a message at either number and I'ill call you back as soon as possible.
