• ATTENTION ALL LOS AMIGOS

  THE TEXAS SKI COUNCIL BID FEST HAS ONCE AGAIN COME HOME TO SAN ANTONIO AND THE AMIGOS SHOULD BE THERE IN FULL FORCE SINCE THIS IS OUR HOME TOWN - LET'S HAVE A GOOD TURNOUT AND EVERYONE THERE CAN TAKE PART IN THE AMIGO CAUCUS TO HELP DECIDE WHICH TRIPS WE AS A CLUB WOULD LIKE TO TAKE NEXT YEAR. YOUR INPUT COUNTS!!!

  IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER, HOWEVER,  IF YOU DON'T CATCH THE MAIL THEN SHOW UP AND REGISTER THERE.

  THE BID FEST REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES A HAPPY HOUR ON FRIDAY, A LUNCH ON SATURDAY, A DINNER WITH DANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND DECISION MAKING ON SUNDAY. WE'RE USUALLY DONE BY ABOUT NOON WHEN WE ALL GO DOWN ON THE RIVERWALK TO HAVE LUNCH.

• March 31 - April 2 - TSC Annual Bid Meeting. at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk located at 111 East Pecan Street, San Antonio, TX.
      PRIORITY NOTE:  Annual TSC Bid Meeting - Any Club member wishing to attend or be a club delegate, should contact the LASC Board as soon as you can.   This is when the ski trips for the next season are presented by ski resorts and voted on by the TSC member clubs.  Dinner, Dance, Silent Auction and other activities are included in the ticket price.  Club delegates vote on the trips based on YOUR input, but ANY Club member may attend festivities with the purchase of a ticket.  All information, prices and forms required for registration are available on the LASC Forms Index page.

MAY 2006:   

• May 2nd - HAPPY HOUR:   It’s on the First Tuesday, at 5:30pm.  Stonewerks, 7300 Jones-Maltsberger in the Quarry Market. 
    
   
• May 16th, - CLUB MEETING.   Meetings are officially suspended until August to give the newly elected Board members time to start planning the upcoming new 2006-'07 season.
  

JUNE 2006:

• July 10th - a BIG one.  "Hooray for Hollywood Gala" at the DOMINION Country Club, 1 Dominion Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78257.  
   
• July 18th - While Club meetings are suspended during the summer, we will have an additional "Social" (happy hour) in it's place.   The July "Social" will be held at our NEW Club Meeting location at "The Falls Oak Room", 5:30 PM - 7 PM.
