Utah claims to have the "Greates Snow on Earth" because of Snowbird. The legendary dry powder is said to be due to the salt content in the area. Snowbird offers over 2500 acres of varied skiing terrain with one of Utah's largest vertical drops - 3240'.

Snowbird enjoys a lift-served skiing connection to its neighbor Alta, and the two resorts offer a combined 4700 skiable acres, among the largest skiable terrains in the USA. Not only is there a lot of challenging terrain, but there are numerous blues and easy greens available.
